Certificate Program

 

American Indian interpretive guides and tribal historians are in high demand at state and national parks, museums and cultural centers.

The UTTC Tribal Tourism Management program (TOUR) offers students a unique opportunity to study both American Indian history and contemporary issues. The program of study incorporates oran and written history, research, and practicum that allows students an opportunity to develop a rich cultural knowledge base. Tribal Tourism graducates are able to acquire employment in retail, hospitality, and tourism industries or further their education at four-year institutions.
