The course covers the basic accounting
cycle for a service and business. Included is the analysis of business
transactions, recording transactions in a general journal, preparation
of a work sheet, financial statements and end-of-period closing.

Cycle I on a computer accounting system. This will included the

for solving business problems using a variety of calculator tools.
The course has both the traditional desktop calculator and computer

This course presents the theory of
a word processing program using Microsoft Word 2000 to teach creating,

The class will enable the student
to develop the necessary skills to operate and function as an efficient
office worker and to develop the necessary skills to communicate

Training in the development of skills in preperation,
storage, and retrieval of records using the ARMA simplified filing rules. Filing
rules covered will include: numeric, alphabetic, subject and geographical filing
rules. This course will utilize hands on work with both manual filing and computer
software.

Training to be medical office assistants and perform
administrative functions using MediSoft software in advanced patient accounting.
Students learn to input patient information, schedules, and appointments, handle
billing, produce lists and reports, and process insurance claims on forms and

Advanced Word Processing is a course
utilizing the MS Word 2000 software. The Level 2 Expert course includes
the instruction and use of desktop publishing and graphics. The
course also includes fields, mail merge, macros, advanced tables
and charts as well as working with long documents (indexes, outlines,
table of contents) and the final phase of hyperlinks and web pages.

PageMaker 6.5 software. Concepts, page layout, merging graphics
