in Early Childhood Education

 

The Early Childhood Education (ECE) program provides students with skills, techniques, and competencies instrumental in the development of healthy and happy children.

Careers in ECE include Headstart and preschool programs, private nursery schools, public child care centers, home-based programs, franchised child care centers, elementary school paraprofessional and nanny positions.

Although career oriented the Degree program prepares students for transfer to a bachelor's degree course of study. Transfer opportunities include ECE, Child Development, Elementary Education, and Counseling.
