Academic Information

Success requires the ability to communicate effectively, make informed choices, understand, accept, and appreciate one's self as well as others. Success also requires that students develop technical skills as well as developing leadership qualities and the ability to think creatively.

Students at United Tribes Technical College fulfill their degree requirements by taking both vocational and general education courses.

United Tribes Technical College offers 15 Associate of Applied Science Degree programs and 9 Certificate programs.

Certificate programs can usually be completed in two to three semesters and AAS Degrees are completed in four or five semesters depending on program requirements.

United Tribes Technical College is also involved in Distance Education and Cooperative Education Programs.

United Tribes Technical College is a nonprofit corporation owned and operated by the five tribes located wholly or in part in North Dakota. Tribal owners: Three Affiliated Tribes of Ft. Berthold, Spirit Lake Tribe, Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, Sisseton Wahpeton Sioux Tribe, and Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa.
